MAXed UP

In response to the extraordinary capacity of our regional youth, Moorambilla Voices is proud to announce the establishment of a new ensemble within its program MAXed UP.
This initiative directly responds to the growing need to support the exceptional talent, commitment and potential of young people across regional New South Wales, especially those entering into the first few
years of High school.
Over recent years, the expanding opportunities provided through Moorambilla Voices have seen our adolescent ensemble reach full capacity recording, touring, performing and filming – highlighting both the demand for, and the impact of, this work.
As we enter our 21st year, the creation of two distinct High school ensembles will enable us to more effectively support exceptionally gifted regional young people at critical stages of their vocal and
personal development.
The newly formed MAXed UP Ensemble will be designed for students whose voices have not yet changed, focusing on foundational vocal skills, musicianship and age-appropriate performance experiences.
The MAXed OUT Ensemble will support students whose voices have changed, allowing for more specialised engagement with adolescent singers within our interdisciplinary educational and artistic
environment tailored to their developmental needs.
The initiative reinforces our deep and long-term commitment to the mental, physical and social wellbeing of young people and the communities with whom we work.
At its heart, the creation of MAXed UP is about access, equity, and possibility – responding to need, unlocking untapped potential and creating expanded pathways for young people to thrive.
We look forward to welcoming more young people into MAXed UP, creating additional pathways for regional young people to further develop their skills, reach their maximum potential and believe in the
power of possibility.
