Description
Featuring a beautiful design by our long-term Artist in Residence, proud Gamilaroi Man Frank Wright, and hand printed by Carizza Teague from The Printroom.
This artwork draws inspiration from the strength and beauty of the birds of western New South Wales, connecting the river systems that sustain our communities with the lifecycles and flight paths of the birds above.
The 2026 Moorambilla Hoodie is 80% Cotton and includes a kangaroo pocket, and is comfortable, warm, and ideal for the cold weather.
We will be completing two print runs for the 2026 Hoodie:
- Order by Sunday 12 July to receive your hoodie at the August Residency Camps in Baradine.
- Order by Sunday 30 August to receive your hoodie at the October Residency Camps.
Design Note
The Maliyan (Wedge-tailed Eagle) at the centre of the artwork represents the coming together of Moorambilla’s six ensembles as we celebrate our 21st year. The back of the hoodie depicts 12 birds flying between more than 70 communities, reflecting the journeys and connections of Moorambilla’s young people as they travel from across regional NSW to learn, create, connect and perform together.
