My substantive position is Education Officer, Education National Parks WS, Education and Volunteers Program, Policy Engagement Branch, NPWS.
In this role I have design and implementation of an audit of the Aboriginal Cultural Learning Programs across NSW, production and coordination of a suite of Aboriginal Education and environmental videos and the development of Aboriginal Cultural Learning resources. These resources will complement the videos and include social media posts, sharing links and working with the team to develop lesson plans linking to NSW Curriculum, syllabuses addressing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and cultures cross curriculum priorities across key learning areas.
In my previous role as Visitor Centre Supervisor and Discovery Coordinator Northern Inland Branch I managed both the Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Centre (WNP VC) and the Pilliga Forest Discovery Centre (PFDC) along with the coordination of the Northern Inland Branch Discovery Program. I am a proud Gomeroi woman living and working in Baradine and have been involved as a community member with the Moorambilla residency camps and concerts since inception of the program.
