Brewarrina is located on the banks of the Barwon Darling River in Outback NSW, 778km north-west of Sydney. For thousands of years, the area around Brewarrina was a meeting place for many Aboriginal language groups. Aboriginal people built stone fisheries on the bed of the Darling River (just downstream from the present day weir). The fish traps that Aboriginal people used to catch fish on the river are as much as 40,000 years old.

We are pleased to work with Brewarrina Central School, St Patrick’s Primary School and invited to the Brewarrina Skills Development Workshops is Weilmoringal Public School.
